Today I am thankful for:
A husband who calls to talk with me a few times every day, even on the busy days.
A child who stepped on a 3 inch thorn from our hawthorne tree and got a puncture wound, but says "I'm sorry I put you through all this mom," (because of all the crying and drama).
Two sweet hens in the yard who know they're cared for and free to roam (as long as they stay in the yard), and give us eggs graciously and without complaint.
A God Who loves and saved me by Grace alone through Faith alone despite the fact that I deserve condemnation, judgment and death.
Friends who care enough to email me and want to get together just to talk.
The ability to enjoy a day that is not perfect and even has some medium-sized problems to deal with, but is still a lot easier than most people's day.
Being able to put dinner on the table when most of the world will go hungry today.
